Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: 22nd December 2023

Pad2Go Nepal (“Pad2Go”,  “us”, “we”, or “our”) is dedicated to ensuring that our Website (https://pad2gonepal.com) is accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of individual circumstances and abilities. We strive to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA) established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as closely as feasible. Adhering to these guidelines is instrumental in enhancing the user-friendliness of the internet for all individuals.

In our ongoing efforts to maximize internet accessibility for everyone, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor challenges, we continually work on enhancing the accessibility of our website. Our aim is to cater to the diverse needs of all our users. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we ensure that our website is compatible with:

  • Recent versions of popular Screen Readers

  • Operating System Screen Magnifiers

  • Operating System Speech Packages

  • Speech Recognition Software

We consistently ensure that our website adheres to accessibility best practices by embracing the principles of universal design. This guarantees that the site remains versatile and can adjust to the unique requirements or preferences of various users. It remains accessible through an array of technologies, such as mobile devices and assistive tools.

  • WebAIM's Principles of Accessible Design

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1

  • WebAIM's Principles of Accessible Design

During the development phase, we endeavour to follow WebAIM's Principles of Accessible Design, and also try to help improve the accessibility of our website for users with disabilities by:

  • Retaining the ability to adjust the font size

  • Providing a sitemap to clearly list the structure of top-level pages

  • Editing colour/contrast for the entire website

  • Ensuring responsive web design and optimising for different screen sizes, such as those of mobile phones, tablets, desktops and TVs

  • Providing keyboard-accessible navigation (tabbing)

  • Providing skip-to-content links at the top of the page

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1

Wherever possible, the website will adhere to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). These guidelines outline four main principles that state that sites should be:

  • Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive

  • Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable

  • Understandable: Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable

  • Robust: Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies

Optimising your Set-Up for your Needs

The AbilityNet website provides guidance to make your computer more accessible. It offers help with seeing the screen, using your keyboard and mouse, hearing sounds, and with reading and spelling.

Disclaimer

Whilst Pad2Go Nepal strives to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website, and we constantly work to bridge the gap. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
